Jennifer Toole is a nationally-recognized leader in multi-modal planning and design, providing expert consultation on bicycle and pedestrian projects throughout the United States. Jennifer established Toole Design Group to bring together like-minded professionals who take a creative approach to modern transportation and urban design issues, and has since built a growing, multi-disciplinary practice with a reputation for outstanding quality and unwavering focus on clients’ needs.

Over the course of her career, Jennifer has been involved in several national publications, including AASHTO's first edition of the Guide to the Planning, Design and Operation of Pedestrian Facilities. In addition, she served three terms as the President of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP).

When not busy running her growing company, Jennifer volunteers her time to organize Walk to School Day at her children’s elementary school in Columbia, MD.
