Tammy Sufi, AICP
Senior Planner
Tammy Sufi has more than 10 years of work experience in a range of transportation-related projects. She has advised clients on the development of pedestrian, bicycle and traffic calming plans, the feasibility of trails and roundabouts, the improvement of congestion and parking, and the traffic impacts of new development. She is an expert in Safe Routes to School planning, having assisted two DOTs in statewide program development and having contributed to a national training course. Prior to joining Toole Design Group, she worked with the private consulting firm of Buckhurst Fish & Jacquemart (BFJ), Inc. in New York City, with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and with the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy in Washington, DC. Tammy is skilled in data collection and analysis, public outreach, and development of plans that combine the public’s vision with innovative and realistic solutions to planning and design issues. Tammy serves as a contractor on special project assignments for Toole Design Group. Education/Certification
