LAUREN KAUFMANN
Staff Engineer
Lauren recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in Engineering Business. Her extracurricular leadership roles and extensive internship experience supplemented her technical coursework with real-world applications.
Lauren grew up in the planned "new town" of Columbia, Maryland and studied in Jefferson's Academical Village, both experiences contributed to her fascination with how the built environment shapes communities.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys photography, traveling, live music and theater, roller coasters, and unleashing her creative side on various crafting projects.
