Mauricio Hernandez
Transportation Planning Graduate Intern
Mauricio Hernandez is currently finishing his Masters in Community Planning, with a focus in non-motorized transportation at the University of Maryland. He recently completed a full year rotation at the District Department of Transportation, where he worked on the implementation of Capital Bikeshare, serving as the program lead for the execution of it's data dashboard. Previously, Mauricio worked in Latino policy issues, and was the Grants and Special Programs Coordinator at the NCLR. Outside the office, he keeps busy by playing the bass for his band Fuser at different establishments around the DC area, and biking everywhere on either his black fixed gear Mercier or using his Capital Bikeshare membership.
