Daniel W. Goodman, AICP, LEED® AP
Senior Planner

Dan Goodman has more than six years of experience in both the public and private sector. He brings a unique blend of land-use planning and urban design experience to his work at Toole Design Group. In his time at TDG, he has managed projects at a range of different scales from small area multi-modal plans, to citywide pedestrian and bicycle plans, and statewide policy plans. He has worked on pedestrian and bicycle projects across the U.S. including the City of Seattle, WA Pedestrian Master Plan, the City of Asheville, NC Bicycle Master Plan, the University of Maryland, College Park Campus Bicycle Plan, and the City of Alexandria, VA Pedestrian and Bicycle Mobility Plan. His recent work has focused on the challenge of developing and prioritizing pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure recommendations using GIS-based demand and deficiency analysis techniques. Dan is a regular metro commuter from his home near U Street in Washington, DC and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Planning Association.
