JOHN DEMPSEY
Project Designer
Born of parents with careers in forestry and contemporary arts it was natural for John to follow an academic and professional career in Landscape Architecture. John has a diverse background in site design and planning at multiple project levels from the perspective of a landscape architect. As a Project Designer with Toole Design Group, John is able to provide input with the synthesis of design and planning phase through to construction administration and documentation.
Studying public urban open space in Denmark reinforced John's perspective on the importance of multi-modal transportation. John is excited to bring his well developed knowledge of design principles and excellent professional track record to become an integral component of the future planning for a multi-modal transportation world.
A love of winter sports and the great outdoors make it easy for John to call New England home. When John isn't out on the slopes he enjoys training for long distance runs, watching sports, sketching and giving friends and family design advice.

- Currently undergoing the Landscape Architect Registration Exam (L.A.R.E.) for professional license/registration
