Toole Design has named Elizabeth Gilliam, PLA Mid-Atlantic Director of Design. In this new capacity, she will lead our engineering and landscape architecture staff on design projects across the Mid-Atlantic from our Silver Spring headquarters. With strong technical skills, final design experience, and a background in project management, Liz blends the abilities of our engineering, urban design and landscape architecture practices to promote multidisciplinary solutions to design projects of all kinds. Most recently, Liz was the Mid-Atlantic Landscape Architecture Director for Toole Design.
“Liz brings a unique perspective to our design work as a licensed Landscape Architect with a keen eye for the technical details in final design documents,” said Eric Mongelli, P.E., Executive Vice President and Director of Engineering. “Her two decades of experience in project and construction management and her strong leadership skills make her a natural choice to lead our design team in the Mid-Atlantic.”
