Participation from members of the Glover Park community is critical to the plan development. Recommendations for improvement should meet the needs of those individuals who regularly travel in Glover Park.

Glover Park Transportation Study Final Public Meeting
Please attend our final open house to review recommendations developed to improve the transportation environment in Glover Park. This will be an informal gathering with poster displays to review the recommendations. Staff from DDOT, Council Member Cheh's office, and the consulting team will be present to answer questions and hear feedback on the project. The full report will be posted to the website after the meeting for further public review.

An open house was held Tuesday May 15th, from 6:30pm to 8pm. Participants were given an opportunity to review the scope of work, maps of the study area, sample treatments to improve accommodations for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit-users and motorists, and to discuss key concerns with the consultant team.

The first of four Community Stakeholder Committee Meetings was held on Friday April 6th. The project team met with a small group of local residents and business owners to discuss the scope of the project and hear key concerns from the community's perspective. On Saturday May 19th the project team facilitated a walkability audit through Glover Park. Tour leaders discussed transportation concepts and participants provided feedback on key issues in the neighborhood. A video of the tour is available for viewing.

An online survey was developed to gather input from local residents regarding travel behaviors, key concerns, and desired improvements to transportation facilities in Glover Park. The survey was available online for over a month and approximately 180 responses were received. A summary of comments can be downloaded here.
