BICYCLE MASTER PLAN

Project Description
Toole Design Group (TDG) served as the prime consultant for the City of Seattle Bicycle Master Plan. The project involved extensive GIS and field analysis and the development of facility recommendations, a wayfinding system, bicycle facility design guidelines, and maintenance and policy strategies. A diverse approach to public involvement, including a Citizen’s Advisory Board, an online questionnaire, and public meetings, was integral to the planning process. The plan focused heavily on implementation and included funding strategies as well as a timeline and phasing approach for the completion of recommendations from the plan.
