STATEWIDE GREENWAYS PLAN

Project Description
Jennifer Toole served as the co-project manager of the Pennsylvania Statewide Greenways Master Plan, a plan that charts the course for a comprehensive statewide Greenway Program for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Plan addresses a broad variety of objectives, including development of a statewide greenway GIS system, establishment of a web-based Greenways Clearinghouse, extensive public outreach, and a comprehensive funding plan. An important component of our work on the Plan was to coordinate with key state agencies, the Governor's Policy Office, and the Governor's Greenways Partnership Commission to develop consensus among agencies and advocates for new policies that systematically encourage and support greenway development.
