The development of the Bicycle & Pedestrian Facilities Planning Study began in May of 2009 and will be completed within nine months. Below is a general schedule for the key tasks to be completed in the coming months.

| June - July 2009 | Project kick-off, existing conditions analysis, needs assessment, baseline mapping, development and distribution of an online questionnaire, TPB Bicycle & Pedestrian Subcommittee update, and public meeting. |
| July - August 2009 | Identify station typologies and case studies, field analysis, and best practices research. |
| August - November 2009 | Develop draft recommendations, cost estimates, and TPB Bicycle & Pedestrian Subcommittee update. |
| November - January 2010 | Development of final recommendations, implementation strategy and draft plan, and Bicycle & Pedestrian Subcommittee update. |
| January - March 2010 | Development and review of final plan. |
Public Input
