Jennifer Toole founded Toole Design Group after fourteen years of practicing pedestrian and bicycle planning for firms in North Carolina and Maryland. Her goal was to bring together a team of planners, engineers and landscape architects who 1) shared her commitment to producing the highest quality work for each and every client, 2) were committed to building livable communities where it is possible for people of all ages to walk, bicycle, and use transit and 3) shared her enjoyment of working in multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative, yet realistic solutions.

Since the firm’s initiation in a small office on Main Street in Laurel, MD, Toole Design Group has tripled in size and is now located in Hyattsville, MD in a transit-oriented development adjacent to the Prince Georges Plaza Metro Station. The firm’s staff includes professional engineers, certified planners, landscape architects, and GIS analysts.
