The project team is conducting a thorough review of existing plans, studies, and designs to build upon and maximize the resources already invested in the project study area. Public input as well as existing traffic conditions will be evaluated and used as a baseline to generate three redesign alternatives for First Place and Galloway Street NE. Finally, conceptual design and a cost estimate will be prepared for the chosen roadway design alternative in addition to suggestions for improving overall connectivity to the Fort Totten Metrorail station for all modes of transportation.

The project team will hold three public meetings to solicit feedback at key milestones as follows:
