Melany Alliston-Brick, PE is a project manager and civil engineer with more than 25 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, primarily in the northeast U.S. Her technical strengths include the areas of transportation, stormwater management, site drainage, grading and erosion control, surveying, road design, and utilities. In recent years, she has been involved in a number of major transportation programs in the Washington, DC region, including the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail Kenilworth Section under the District of Columbia’s Anacostia Waterfront Initiative, and Phase 1 for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project under the Virginia Department for Transportation’s Virginia Megaprojects Program.
Melany was recently named the President of the Washington, DC chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar, and she participates in several mentoring programs aimed at Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education for elementary through college age girls. In her spare time, she enjoys needlework and spending time with friends and family.
