CAD Designer

Toole Design Group is an exciting and growing consulting firm with a national reputation for excellence in transportation planning and design. We are currently recruiting a CAD Designer for our Metro DC office. Our work includes a wide variety of projects at the local, state and national level -- including roadway, trail, bikeway and pedestrian facility design; expert consultation with State DOT's on non-motorized transportation issues, federal research, and a wide variety of master planning projects for local and regional governments throughout the US.

The successful candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in computer-aided design, geography, civil engineering or related field, and four years of experience. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience developing transportation construction documents using Computer Aided Design preferably in both AutoCAD and MicroStation. Knowledge of graphics software, design software (GEOPAK, InRoads, Civil3D or Land Desktop) and CAD management practices is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, and are self starters. Salary range: $40,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
